Mumbai Airport Customs seizes around 9.5 Kg of gold, arrests 2 Azerbaijan nationals

Two Azerbaijan nationals were arrested by the Mumbai Airport Customs for illegally smuggling gold into the country. “Mumbai Airport Customs seized around 9.5 Kg of gold worth Rs 4.75 crore in 8 cases. Two Azerbaijan nationals who arrived from Dubai carrying 6000 grams of gold worth Rs 2.99 crore were arrested,” Mumbai Customs said in an official statement.
