Mohan Bhagwat's indirect jibe at China: One-sided development causing instability in Himalayas

Highlighting how one-sided development is destroying the Himalayan region, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat on Tuesday instead suggested that a balanced approach in the region might offer better outcomes. He highlighted how such instability in the mountainous region has killed over 1,400 people, while more than 6,000 remain unaccounted for. Addressing the RSS centenary Vijayadashami utsav at Reshimbagh ground in Maharashtra's Nagpur, Bhagwat called for a balanced approach to development that takes ecological stability and human welfare into account.
