CJP leaders Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka have been taken back into judicial custody after their surety was reportedly rejected over a mismatch in documents. Their lawyer said the legal team would challenge the order in a higher court, while CJP’s Head of Legal Affairs, Ratna Singh, alleged that repeated objections had delayed their release and described the decision as an attempt to stifle voices. These are allegations made by the leaders’ legal team.
