Leh Airport's new terminal 83% complete; capacity to triple to 54 flights a day; watch video

Leh Airport's new integrated terminal building is now 83% physically complete, according to Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu. Once operational, the terminal will be capable of handling up to 54 flights a day, nearly three times the airport's current capacity. The expansion is expected to improve connectivity to Ladakh, enhance passenger handling, support tourism, and strengthen access to one of India's most strategically important Himalayan regions.
