'₹82 Petrol, ₹70 E20': Kejriwal urges centre to cut fuel prices after questioning carmakers on E20

A day after writing to 29 automobile manufacturers seeking clarity on the use of E20 fuel in older vehicles and compensation for any mileage loss or engine damage, AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal has shifted focus to fuel pricing. Kejriwal has demanded that the Centre supply pure petrol at ₹82 per litre and argued that E20 petrol should cost around ₹70 per litre, saying consumers should benefit from ethanol blending through lower fuel prices.
