J&K: Streets in Srinagar wear deserted look amid weekend lockdown due to surge in COVID cases

The roads of Srinagar wore a deserted look following the imposition of the weekend lockdown amid the rising COVID-19 cases. The weekend lockdown was extended by the administration in the Kashmir Valley. Complete restrictions imposed on non-essential movement in the entire Jammu and Kashmir from January 21 (Friday) 2:00 pm till January 24 (Monday) 6:00 am. The government has improved the medical facilities and has also issued guidelines for following SOPs for public and positive patients in Kashmir Valley.
