Jewar Airport opens: ₹11,200 cr project takes flight with 4-km runway, strengthens UP infra push

Narendra Modi inaugurated Phase 1 of Noida International Airport in Greater Noida, marking a major boost to connectivity in NCR and Uttar Pradesh. Built at a cost of ₹11,200 crore and spread across 3,000+ acres, the airport features a 4-km-long runway capable of handling international operations. The project, launched in the presence of Yogi Adityanath, is expected to strengthen regional infrastructure, ease congestion at Delhi airports, and drive economic growth. The inauguration also aligns with the government’s vision of ‘Viksit UP, Viksit Bharat’.
