ISRO's NVS-03 launch: Third indigenous atomic clock now in orbit

ISRO successfully launches the 2,250-kg NVS-03 navigation satellite aboard GSLV-F18 from Sriharikota at 11:51 PM on October 30. The mission marks the 20th flight of India's GSLV and ISRO's third space launch this year. ISRO Chief Dr V. Narayanan confirms that the satellite carries the third indigenous atomic clock placed in orbit. NVS-03 restores NavIC to its minimum operational configuration of four satellites and introduces the L1 signal alongside existing L5 and S-band frequencies. The system provides independent navigation and timing services across India and 1,500 km beyond its borders.Hashtags#ISRO #NVS03 #GSLVF18 #NavIC #MakeInIndia #SpaceTechnology #IndianSpaceProgramme
