India beat Pakistan by 19 runs to win the men's cricket gold medal at the Asian Games 2026 at Korogi Sports Park in Nisshin, Japan, on Saturday.Batting first after winning the toss, India posted 211/6 in 20 overs. Abhishek Sharma scored 61 off 28 balls, and Tilak Varma remained unbeaten on 51 off 22. Shivam Dube added 27 off 15 as India took 46 runs off the final three overs.Pakistan slipped to 39/3 in the seventh over before Hasan Nawaz hit 96 off 51 balls to keep the chase alive. Dube dismissed him off the final ball of the match as Pakistan finished on 192/6.India retain the title they won in Hangzhou in 2023. It is their seventh consecutive T20I win over Pakistan. Pakistan take silver.
