BJP MP Sudhanshu Trivedi delivered a strong defence of Hindutva during a debate hosted by the Calcutta Debating Circle on the theme ‘Hinduism Needs Protection From Hindutva’ at the Calcutta Club. Trivedi argued that Hindutva represents ‘Hindu tattva’, the core essence of Hinduism, and stressed that Hinduism is unique among world religions in allowing debate even on its sacred texts.
