'GDP doubled, we count more, influence more': EAM Jaishankar lists 6 challenges at ICWA

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said India's GDP has doubled in the last decade and the country is viewed "very differently by the world" today, adding "We count more, we influence more, but we also have greater responsibility." Speaking at ICWA, he said India confronts "the prospect of conducting diplomacy in the era of AI" and stressed "Indian diplomacy will always have peace and development as its central agenda" while noting "there is an alternative to strategic autonomy" does not exist and India's answer is to "double down on multipolarity."
