Fuel supply stable, LPG output up 28%: Govt urges citizens not to panic

The Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas has assured that India’s fuel supply remains stable despite rising panic over LPG availability. Officials said LPG production has been increased to 28% after refineries were directed to maximise output under the Essential Commodities Act. Around 50 lakh LPG cylinders are being supplied daily across the country and authorities confirmed that no dry-out has been reported at retail outlets.
