Farooq Abdullah demands statehood, slams BJP on Article 370 anniversary
On the 6th anniversary of the abrogation of Article 370, NC chief Farooq Abdullah questioned the BJP-led Centre over the delay in restoring J&K’s statehood and criticized the role of the Lieutenant Governor. He urged for dialogue with neighbours, expressed sadness over the Kulgam encounter, and warned that forceful governance would only deepen alienation in the region.
