‘1960 Indus Waters Treaty cannot be a perpetual entitlement’: India blasts Pakistan at UN
India’s First Secretary at the UN Mission, Anupama Singh, said the "Indus Waters Treaty is now outdated" and argued that the 1960 agreement "cannot be treated as a perpetual entitlement" amid changing global realities. Singh said India’s position on the treaty remains clear and criticised Pakistan’s approach, while calling for accountability and present-day considerations in cooperation.
