EU chief Ursula arrives in New Delhi, to be chief guest for India’s 77th Republic Day
India is hosting von der Leyen along with European Council President António Luís Santos da Costa as the chief guests for the national event.Von der Leyen and da Costa will represent the European Union at the 16th EU–India Summit scheduled for January 27. The summit is expected to focus on key free trade agreement discussions, including what has been described as the “mother of all deals”.
