‘Don’t do politics over reservation’: RSS Chief Bhagwat on quota & social discrimination
RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat spoke about reservation in education and employment during an interaction in Mumbai, saying reservation exists for social reasons and should continue as long as social discrimination persists. He referred to Dr BR Ambedkar's views on reservation, urged beneficiaries to use the opportunity for upliftment and help others, and said politics over reservation creates social tensions.
