Delhi LG sends proposal to MHA, recommends non-consensual sex with wife aged 15-18 yrs be treated as rape
As per Delhi Police sources, Delhi Lt Governor V K Saxena has recommended to the home ministry that non-consensual intercourse with a wife who is between the ages of 15 and 18 constitutes rape and is punishable by the Indian Penal Code.
