As Cyclone ‘Montha’ triggers heavy rainfall across Odisha, Gajapati district administration has initiated evacuation and safety measures. 946 people have been evacuated already, district officials confirmed that over 90 pregnant women have been shifted to health centres, while awareness campaigns continue to warn residents of thunderstorms and lightning.
