Agencies Suspect Pakistan, China's hand
Intelligence agencies suspect a connection to previous instances where schools in various cities were targeted with similar threats, allegedly orchestrated by perpetrators operating from Pakistan. Despite efforts to contain the situation, the recurrence of such incidents underscores the need for heightened vigilance and coordinated action among law enforcement agencies.Quoting directly from the threatening email, it stated, "I have placed explosive devices inside of your building. They will explode in the following hours. This isn't a threat; you have a few hours to disarm the bomb or else the blood of innocent people inside of the building will be on your hands. The group called 'Court' is behind this massacre (sic)."
Similar threats were also reported on Sunday, targeting numerous establishments, including hospitals in Delhi, as well as airports in different cities across India. Despite extensive searches and sanitization measures, no credible threat was identified.
Intelligence efforts have led to the identification of the email accounts' user, traced to a military cantonment in Faisalabad, Pakistan, further strengthening suspicions of the involvement of neighboring countries' intelligence agencies, potentially aided by external support. Crucial information shared informally by Russian intelligence has aided in this breakthrough.
As investigations unfold, authorities have sought international cooperation, with requests made to Russia through Interpol and the preparation of Letters Rogatory, aiming to garner assistance in tracing the origins of these threatening emails.
