At least four schools in Jaipur, Rajasthan, received bomb threats via email, leading to the evacuation of students and staff. Police teams, including bomb squads, are investigating the threats. Jaipur Police Commissioner Biju George Joseph confirmed the threats and stated, "Four-five schools have received bomb threats. Police have reached the schools."

DCP East Jaipur Kavendra Sagar says, "Threatening emails have been sent to some schools of the city including Maheshwari School (MPS International School). Currently, the bomb disposal squad is carrying out searches in the school."

Email Threats Spread Panic
The threats come on the heels of similar incidents in Delhi, where several hospitals received hoax emails about bombs. Additionally, an email threat was received at the IGI airport. Police conducted searches but found nothing suspicious. These incidents follow a pattern seen two weeks ago in the National Capital Region (NCR) and earlier in Bengaluru.

The sender of the threatening emails to hospitals used an email on beeble.com, a Korean firm. Similar emails were sent to hospitals in Dec from the same domain. The sender this time marked the email to two dozen establishments, including hospitals. The sender of the threats to schools and hospitals has been traced to Pakistan.

International Cooperation in Investigation
Authorities suspect the involvement of Pakistan's deep state, potentially backed by Chinese intelligence, in these threats. The intelligence agencies have located the email accounts’ user to a military cantonment in Faislabad, Pakistan. Russian intelligence has informally shared key information aiding in the investigation. Police have sought Interpol's assistance and prepared Letters Rogatory to be sent to Russia for further cooperation.
