Central Asia Dialogue: Jaishankar calls for preserving rights of Afghan women, children and minorities

Underlining the "deep-rooted and civilizational ties" India and other Central Asian countries share with Afghanistan, External Affairs Minister (EAM) S Jaishankar on December 19 expressed concern situation in Afghanistan. He said, “We all share deep-rooted ties with Afghanistan and our concerns and objectives for the country include a true and representative government, fighting against terrorism and drug trafficking, and preserving the rights of women, children and minorities in Afghanistan.”
