Ceasefire stands only if Taliban keeps its word: Pak Defence Minister, Khawaja Asif

Islamabad | Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif has said the ceasefire with Kabul depends on the Taliban acting against the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).The truce, brokered by Turkey and Qatar in Doha, followed deadly border clashes.Asif told Reuters that Pakistan will hold the peace “as long as there is no violation” and warned that all depends on ending TTP support inside Afghanistan.
