‘BJP people are goons': Shashi Panja alleges BJP workers hurled stones at her, TMC workers
Kolkata witnessed violent clashes ahead of PM Modi’s rally at Brigade Parade Ground. TMC Minister Shashi Panja reported over 50 TMC workers injured and alleged BJP workers engaged in stone-pelting and assault. Panja described the attacks as unprecedented hooliganism and condemned the lawlessness that unfolded in central Kolkata. Police personnel were also injured while trying to control the situation.
