Bengaluru Police had arrested the three people in the abetment to suicide case of Atul Subhash, a tech professional, on December 15. Nikita Singhania, the wife of the late techie, was arrested in Gurgoan, Haryana, while her mother, Nisha Singhania, and brother, Anurag Singhania, were taken into custody in Prayagraj.
Police had said that the role of Sushil Singhania, a relative of Nikita, is still under investigation, and efforts are being made to locate him. Nikita has been named as accused No. 1 in the case, while her mother Nisha is accused No. 2, and her brother Anurag is accused No. 3.
Atul Subhash suicide case
Atul Subhash, a 34-year-old senior executive from Uttar Pradesh, was discovered hanging in his apartment in Munnekolalu, Marathahalli, on December 10. Subhash, who had been facing domestic violence charges, left behind a detailed 24-page suicide note outlining the hardships he endured. The note reportedly highlighted multiple police complaints filed against him by his wife and others, which he claimed led him to take the extreme step.In his suicide note, Atul elaborated on the alleged harassment he faced from his wife and others, as well as the criminal cases filed against him, including a domestic violence complaint. He also requested the NGO to support his parents and close family members.
