Assam clocks 13% growth: Himanta Biswa Sarma’s Davos pitch to global investors
At the World Economic Forum in Davos, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma pitched the state as one of India’s fastest-growing economies. Citing RBI data, he highlighted nearly 13% growth, major infrastructure investments and the Act East policy, positioning Assam as India’s gateway to Southeast Asia trade.
