‘80 cr people to be urbanised by 2047’: Khattar calls for future-ready urban mobility in Odisha

Union Minister Manohar Lal addressed the 19th Urban Mobility India Conference in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, held on October 23–24. He called for integrating urban mobility into city planning from the outset, moving beyond a need-based approach. The two-day conference, organised by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, brought together around 1,500 delegates, including international participants, across 14 sessions. At the Conference, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has won the ‘Award of Excellence’ in the ‘Excellence in Innovation and Smart Mobility Solutions’ category.
