Congress workers begin celebrations in Rajasthan

After early trends showed Congress leading in Rajasthan during counting of votes, party workers entered into party mode. These workers could be seen dancing on roads and bursting crackers. Congress is leading in 26 constituencies, while BJP is at a distant second with a lead on 9 seats. The results of assembly elections in 5 states are crucial for BJP-led NDA government as it will draw the battle lines for Lok Sabha polls in 2019. A defeat will hurt its plan for 2019 general elections.
