Prominent leaders from the INDIA alliance, including Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal's wife Sunita Kejriwal, Hemant Soren's wife Kalpana Soren, AAP Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh, Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann, SP chief Akhilesh Yadav, former Bihar deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav, and Jharkhand CM Champai Soren, attended the rally. Two empty chairs symbolizing jailed leaders Arvind Kejriwal and Hemant Soren were placed on stage. A total of 28 political parties participated in the rally held at the Prabhat Tara Ground.
The leaders expressed their views on various issues. AAP leader Sanjay Singh criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi, stating, "He put Hemant Soren, Arvind Kejriwal in jail under false accusations. When he speaks on corruption, it looks as if Osama Bin Laden and Gabbar Singh are preaching non-violence." He also referred to a fictional 'Modi washing powder' that supposedly cleans corruption, mocking the government's anti-corruption stance.
Sunita Kejriwal, wife of Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, highlighted her husband's commitment to serving the nation: "Arvind Kejriwal has no desire for power. He just wants to serve the nation. He wants to make the country no.1." She also criticized the conditions of Kejriwal's imprisonment, claiming he is being denied insulin despite being a diabetic.
Tejashwi Yadav, former Bihar deputy CM, accused the NDA government of neglecting states with non-BJP governments: "Since 2014, the BJP-led NDA government is in power at the Centre. The NDA wants its rule in all the states, and it is showing a step-motherly attitude towards states where there is a non-BJP government."
Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann urged people not to fall for BJP's promises: "They (BJP-led NDA) have finished someone's party, snatch someone's symbol, freeze someone's accounts, and buy someone's MPs and MLAs. This is their only job." He called on voters to support INDIA alliance candidates in the upcoming elections.
SP chief Akhilesh Yadav accused the BJP-led NDA of resorting to unjust practices: "I can vouch for this that they (BJP-led NDA) are afraid. They have lost the (Lok Sabha) elections, and that's why they are doing 'anyay' (injustice)."
The INDIA alliance leaders used the rally as a platform to criticize the BJP-led government and rally support for the upcoming elections. The rally highlighted key issues such as corruption, misuse of power, and the need for change, setting the stage for a heated political contest in the coming months.
