The TDP bagged 135 Assembly seats out of 175, Janasena 21 and BJP eight while YSRCP was restricted to just 11 seats, according to the data disseminated by the Election Commission.

Key contenders for the TDP included YS Sharmila Reddy and Yedugiri Sandinti Avinash Reddy in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections in Andhra Pradesh.Exit polls conducted post-elections predicted a significant win for the BJP-led NDA, estimating them to secure between 21 and 25 seats. In contrast, the YSR Congress Party was anticipated to win only 0-4 seats, while the Congress-led INDIA alliance was expected to draw a blank.
The elections witnessed a notable voter turnout of 81.86%, with the BJP-TDP-JSP alliance emerging as a strong contender in the state. This surge in support for the alliance marked a decline in the base of the YSRCP, which had secured 22 seats in the 2019 elections.
In addition to the Lok Sabha elections, the Andhra Pradesh Assembly Election 2024 has also been a highly anticipated event, witnessing the participation of major political players.
The INDIA bloc, including the Congress, CPI(M), and CPI, contested 159, 7, and 7 seats, respectively.
According to the Election Commission, 454 candidates vied for the 25 Lok Sabha seats, while 2,387 candidates competed in the Assembly elections. The total voter turnout was recorded at 80.66% for both the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections.
Prominent leaders like YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan, and TDP leader N Chandrababu Naidu contested from key constituencies, with high polling percentages recorded in their respective areas.
Exit polls indicate a dominance of the NDA alliance in the Andhra Pradesh Lok Sabha elections, with projections ranging from 19 to 25 seats out of the 25. The TDP, a crucial member of the NDA, is expected to play a pivotal role in achieving this tally, while the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) is projected to secure up to 8 seats.
For the Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections, exit polls also forecast a significant victory for the TDP-led NDA alliance, with projections ranging from 111 to 135 seats. The YSRCP is expected to win between 45 and 60 seats, with some exit polls suggesting a landslide victory for the TDP-led alliance.
