“I urge you to contact our party workers. Since I filed a case in the Supreme Court, around 25 lakh electors who were under adjudication, have been retained. Those, whose names have been excluded, should appeal before the Appellate Tribunal with all their documents. We will provide free legal assistance,” Banerjee said from her public rally in Murshidabad, while talking about appeal.
Banerjee also warned her party workers and pointed out that the EVMs must be checked properly. “I am hopeful nobody will allow BJP to purchase them. Don’t let voting happen in EVMs that have malfunctioned,” she alerted.
She also warned the candidates to be “careful while you file your nomination”. “Make sure to do a thorough scrutiny. BJP has planned to get your nominations rejected. Take your people on the day of scrutiny. There will be an attempt to cancel your nominations and create disturbance on the day of polling,” she added.
She challenged BJP to fight politically. “Why are you taking away the rights of the people? You and the PM both have been elected with 2024 voter’s list. If you have come to power based on the votes of infiltrators, why haven’t you resigned?”
