West Bengal Assembly Election Phase 1 2026: Suvendu Adhikari, Dilip Ghosh & Humayun Kabir among key candidates across constituencies

The first phase of polling for the West Bengal Assembly elections is set for Thursday, April 23, covering 152 constituencies across 16 districts, with a total of 1,478 candidates in the fray, marking the start of a high-stakes electoral contest in the state.
