TMC seeks reasons for voter list rejections, offline appeals rollout in West Bengal
Kolkata: In a letter to Chief Justice Sujay Paul, the Trinamool Congress on Wednesday urged that reasons for rejection recorded by judicial officers be reflected in the supplementary list, enabling appellants to address them in appeal. The party also sought a decentralised system for filing appeals at the BDO level, in addition to DMs and SDOs, to make the process more convenient for a large number of electors. Trinamool also requested Paul to publish notification for commencement of offline appeals at the earliest.
