Addressing partymen after a clear indication of a big victory for the Bharatiya Janata Paty, incumbent chief minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his tireless campaign and visionary schemes. The chief minister was sprayed with gulal (dry colour) by state party president Swatantra Dev Singh and others to celebrate the party's victory in the elections.

People have buried the politics of caste and religion by ensuring the victory of BJP and its allies in Uttar Pradesh under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath mentioned in his speech.

The CM reiterated that today's mandate is a reflection of BJP's committement towards the people of the state. BJP, its allies Apna Dal (S) and Nishad party register victory in Uttar Pradesh under leadership of PM Modi, stated Yogi Adityanath.


In his victory speech, Uttar Pradesh incumbent chief minister Yogi Adityanath also said the BJP’s “double engine” government had given a sense of security to the people in the last five years, and that the saffron party had worked for the development of UP.
