Mulayam Singh Yadav's brother-in-law Pramod Gupta joins BJP

Pramod Gupta, brother of Sadhna Gupta, Mulayam Singh Yadav's second wife, joined the BJP in Lucknow, accusing the SP of inducting "criminals and gamblers into the party".

A day after Mulayam Singh Yadav's daughter-in-law, Aparna Yadav, joined the BJP, another of his relatives left for the BJP camp on Thursday.

Pramod Gupta, brother of Sadhna Gupta, Mulayam Singh Yadav's second wife, joined the BJP in Lucknow, accusing the SP of inducting "criminals and gamblers into the party".

He even said that Akhilesh has "imprisoned" Mulayam and does not let him meet anyone and keeps insulting him from time to time.


Gupta has been a two-time MLA from Bidhuna in Auraiya.

In 2007, when he was denied a ticket by the SP, he fought independently and won and then in 2012 represented SP on the seat.
