NDA will form government in Nagaland, Meghalaya and Tripura: Assam CM
Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said there will be a BJP-led government in Tripura and the BJP will be in the ruling coalitions in both Meghalaya and Nagaland as it is today. “There will be no alliance with Congress and Trinamool Congress”.

While Meghalaya and Nagaland went to assembly polls on February 26, Tripura went to polls on February 16. Counting of ballots will take place on March 2.
Pradyot Bikram Manikya Deb Barman, chief of Tipra Motha party, doubted the exit polls and told party workers losers to make noise before defeat.
He said,” “You voted for whom you know. So do not be sad over exit poll predictions. These people will write anything for money. Don't worry and just wait for another 36 hours and after that the entire India will come to know what Tiprasa is going to do this time.”
In an audio message, he said: “Those bursting crackers we will have to bail them out for they will end up spending their money”.
Tripura’s Congress leader Sudip Roy Barman expressed doubts over the exit polls and said that people will get to know exact polls.
