Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) chief Vijay is presently ahead in both Perambur and Tiruchirappalli East constituencies, with his supporters already beginning celebrations.

Vijay took to X (formerly Twitter) to share a video capturing the celebrations at his home. The clip shows his parents and children whistling in joy to mark the significant moment as TVK gains ground in the Tamil Nadu contest.

A video of TVK supporters is going viral on social media, showing a large group of Vijay’s followers gathered outside his office, celebrating with energetic dance and loud whistles.




Sharing the video, the actor penned in the caption, “Whistle celebrations by Thalapathy family."

Meanwhile, security has been heightened outside Vijay’s residence, anticipating the arrival of party workers and fans to congratulate him. Apart from Tamil Nadu, election results are also being announced in Puducherry, Assam, West Bengal, and Kerala, though the spotlight remains firmly on Vijay’s striking political surge.

According to the Election Commission of India, the AIADMK-led alliance is ahead in 62 seats, while the DMK-led coalition is leading in 41 seats. Meanwhile, actor-turned-politician Vijay’s Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) is in front in 109 seats.
