Tiruppur: Chief Minister M K Stalin has warned that Tamil Nadu's progress will be affected if people vote for NDA in the upcoming Assembly elections.

Addressing a poll rally here on Saturday, he said whenever the DMK implements a scheme, it invariably emerges as a landmark achievement.

"The AIADMK and BJP have crippled this region's industrial growth. Votes cast for NDA will become a stumbling block to Tamil Nadu's progress and people must realise this".

The DMK chief said the schemes implemented in Tamil Nadu are being replicated across the country. "The union government is now attempting to copy our initiatives," he claimed.

Elections to 234 Assembly seats in Tamil Nadu will be held on April 23.
