BJP manifesto calls Tamil Nadu under DMK a ‘crime capital’
Coimbatore: The BJP on Tuesday released its manifesto for the upcoming Tamil Nadu assembly elections, promising direct cash transfers, free welfare benefits and institutional reforms. The party also intensified its attack on the ruling DMK, mainly around issues related to law and order.

"Under the DMK government, this cultural capital has now been converted into a crime capital," former BJP national president and union minister for health and family welfare JP Nadda said. "Tamil Nadu itself did not fail at any point of time, but it is the DMK that made it fail on all fronts."
