AMMK files complaint against TVK over 'forged' support letter
TTV Dhinakaran challenges the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam. He claims a support letter from AMMK MLA S Kamaraj is forged. Dhinakaran alleges a video showing Kamaraj signing the letter was also manipulated. This follows a police complaint over the use ...

In a press conference, Dhinakaran alleged that a video clip released by TVK, displaying Kamaraj appending his signature on the letter offering his support to TVK to form the government in Tamil Nadu, was also "forged" and possibly created using artificial intelligence (AI).
This followed a police complaint that he filed late on Friday night accusing TVK of using a photocopy of a 'forged' support letter from AMMK's lone MLA to stake claim, adding a twist to the political drama over government formation in the state.
In response Vijay-led TVK had released a video purportedly showing Kamaraj writing the letter and stating that he was extending support to TVK with the approval of Dhinakaran.
"TVK, which claims to be a 'pure force', has indulged in forgery and horse-trading," Dhinakaran alleged while talking to reporters after filing the complaint at the Guindy police station.
The police are likely to conduct a preliminary inquiry into the complaint before taking a decision on whether an FIR is to be registered.
The development came in the wee hours on Saturday morning as TVK, after emerging the single-largest party with 108 seats in the recent assembly elections, was scrambling to secure the support of 118 MLAs.
