If someone seeks votes on religion, it means he can't rely on their work: Priyanka Gandhi

Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra criticized the BJP on Monday, stating that those who rely on religion or caste for votes cannot ask for support based on their work. Speaking at a rally in Kekdi in Rajasthan's Ajmer, Vadra urged people to assess the performance of different parties before casting their votes.

She emphasized that the Congress is unified in Rajasthan, while the BJP is divided. "If someone seeks votes based on religion or caste, it means they cannot rely on their work," Vadra stated. She further highlighted that all Congress leaders and workers in Rajasthan have united in the electoral battle, unlike the fragmented BJP.

Vadra accused the BJP of neglecting its leaders in the state and searching for new faces, claiming that the party's focus is on benefiting big industrialists rather than the welfare of the poor and middle class. Vadra warned the crowd that if the BJP comes to power in Rajasthan, it will terminate all public welfare schemes initiated by the Congress government. The polling for the 200-member Rajasthan Assembly is scheduled for November 25, and the results will be announced on December 3.


Congress, led by Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, is seeking a re-election in Rajasthan that has a record of not repeating the ruling party in the state.
