Prime Minister Narendra Modi took a veiled dig at Rahul Gandhi, saying that he can't even differentiate between moong and masoor but is teaching farming to others.

"Kuch log aise hain jinko maloom nahi hai ki chane ka paudha hota hai ya ped, jo moong aur masoor mein farak nahi samajhte vo aaj desh ko kisaani sikhane ke liye ghoom rahe hain," PM Narendra Modi said in an election rally in Nagaur, Rajasthan, without naming Rahul Gandhi which roughly translates to: Some people who do not know whether there is a Chickpea plant or tree, or can differntiate between moong and masoor are now teaching farming.

"I have lived my life the way you have. Neither you nor I was born with a silver spoon. Your parents have never ruled nor have mine," Modi further added.

Farmers' issues have been a major talking point in the current assembly elections with Congress promising farm loan waiver if voted to power in Rajasthan.
