Modi's veiled dig at Rahul Gandhi: Can't tell moong and masoor apart but teaching farming
Farmers' issues have been a major talking point in the current assembly elections.

"Kuch log aise hain jinko maloom nahi hai ki chane ka paudha hota hai ya ped, jo moong aur masoor mein farak nahi samajhte vo aaj desh ko kisaani sikhane ke liye ghoom rahe hain," PM Narendra Modi said in an election rally in Nagaur, Rajasthan, without naming Rahul Gandhi which roughly translates to: Some people who do not know whether there is a Chickpea plant or tree, or can differntiate between moong and masoor are now teaching farming.
"I have lived my life the way you have. Neither you nor I was born with a silver spoon. Your parents have never ruled nor have mine," Modi further added.
