BJP releases manifesto for Odisha polls; promises 3.5 lakh jobs in 5 years, cash voucher of Rs 50,000 for women

In BJP manifesto promised "Samrudh Krushak Niti', under which paddy will be procured at Rs 3,100 per quintal and the money will be credited to the bank accounts of farmers within 48 hours.
The saffron party said that it will launch "Subhadra Yojana' that promises every woman a cash voucher of Rs 50,000 which can be encashed over two years.
"We will aim to create 25 lakh "Lakhpati Didis' in Odisha by 2027. For this, we will create industrial clusters for every 500 self-help groups, wherein we will provide facility management for product marketing and promotion," Nadda said.
The BJP promised to build "Odia Samudaya Bhawan' in all metro cities of the country for the welfare of Odia people living outside the state.
The BJP made a promise to create 350,000 jobs by the year 2029 and announced its plan to fill 65,000 empty government positions in a transparent manner within a span of two years.
It made a commitment to refund the funds lost by individuals who had invested in chit-fund companies within a span of 18 months, and to introduce the Ayushman Bharat scheme within a period of 100 days.
The BJP also pledged to introduce medical, engineering, and law courses in Odia. Additionally, they planned to establish IT parks in Bhubaneswar, Rourkela, Berhampur, and Balasore, along with textile parks in western Odisha.
If the BJP is elected, they have promised to increase the number of beds in government hospitals by 36,000, upgrade ICUs, dialysis units, and operating theaters, and set up nursing colleges, medical colleges, and super specialty hospitals in each district.
He said that all the dogs removed during the renovation project will be compensated fairly and resettled, and all four entrances of the temple will be accessible to worshippers.
Nadda claimed that the number of incidents of violence against women has risen in the state during the tenure of the Naveen Patnaik government, with many BJD leaders being implicated in crimes like rape and murder.
