Nagaland Exit Poll Results LIVE: Huge victory for BJP-NDPP alliance in Nagaland

Most exit polls today predicted a huge win for BJP-NDPP in Nagaland with a majority of over 40 seats. Congress will get around one to three seats and NPF two to five, it predicted. Elections across the 59 assembly seats in Nagaland concluded today peacefully. BJP's Kazheto Kinimi was re-elected from the Akuluto seat after his only rival withdrew his nomination. According to the Election Commission, over 83 per cent voting was recorded in the North Eastern State till 5 pm.

Polling in Nagaland was held on February in a single phase, while elections in Meghalaya and Nagaland were held today.

* In 2018, BJP won 12 seats. This time it is jointly contesting with the NDPP. Under the seat-sharing agreement, the NDPP is contesting 40 seats and the BJP on 20 seats.
