No reason to defer Mizoram polls, says Chief Electoral Officer
The six relief camps in Tripura would exercise franchise inside Mizoram in accordance with the decision of the Election Commission of India.

"It is most likely that arrangements for casting of votes by Bru voters from Tripura relief camps would be made at Mizoram-Tripura border Kanhmun village," he said, detailed arrangements would be made soon.
He explained that voter slips will give to voters. The state will witness deployment of 40 companies of central para military forces (cpmf). Already 20 companies have arrived and another 20 will arrive by November 22.
He said in 32 critical polling station videography will be done.
Kundra secretary in Mizoram government was appointed on Thursday by Election commission replacing S B Shashank. Shashank courted controversy and civil society groups agitated for his replacement.
Organisations were against him for alledged trying to facilitate voting of Bru voters in the relief camp.
