Guwahati: BJP president Amit Shah promised a secular and peaceful Mizoram where all sections of the society will develop.

Addressing election rallies in Lawngtlai and Vairengte in Mizoram he said that more power will be given to Autonomous district council (ADC) in the Sixth Schedule of the constitution.

Shah said, “When people of Nagaland, Meghalaya, Manipur, Assam,Tripura, Arunachal pradesh can bring progressive BJP Government why can’t Mizoram also be part of the BJP family. BJP government has put an end to the era of bandh and blockade and controlled armed groups in different states.”


He added that Mizoram has immense potential for Tourism, but the road connectivity has made it stagnant.“Congress has played with the emotions people of Mizoram for a very long time. Instead of teaching them rights, it has been preaching “Votes for Money”. Drive Congress out and bring BJP government for all.”

Bjp said, “It’s funny the Tuirial Hydel Project in Mizoram took 18 years to be built under Congress and MNF government rule.
