Shah asks Rahul what Congress did for adivasis
Addressing two rallies in the tribal regions of Gadchiroli and Chandrapur, Vidarbha on friday, Home Minister Amit Shah attacked on Congress' 70-year regime that ignored welfare of tribes. He made promises of freeing the region from naxalism.

“Once the election code of conduct is over, the adivasis across the country will be given patta of land,” he said at a rally in Rajura.
Shah addressed two rallies in the tribal-dominated Gadchiroli and Chandrapur in Vidarbha region of Maharashtra on Friday.
Attacking Congress, Shah asked Rahul Gandhi what has four generations of his family done for adivasis during their rule of 70 years. While speaking at Aheri, Gadchiroli earlier on Friday,
Shah had said the region would be free of Naxalism in the next five years. “Nobody needs to worry. Modi ji has curbed the menace over the past five years. We will free this entire region of Naxalism and create such an atmosphere that youngsters from here will be able to compete with those from rest of the world,” he said.
Meanwhile, in their election meetings in Maharashtra, NCP chief Sharad Pawar and Congress leaders have been attacking the Centre over abrogation of Article 370 saying that it has no connection with people of Maharashtra.
Shah reiterated the Congress did not scrap Article 370, which he said had caused spread of terrorism and subsequent killing of 40,000 people in Jammu and Kashmir for seven decades due to vote-bank politics, but it was Prime Minister Narendra Modi who took the initiative to revoke the provision.
