Indapur: NCP (Sharad Pawar) working president Supriya Sule, who has been addressing around five rallies a day, said that if they come to power a comprehensive bill giving reservation to Marathas, Dhangars, Lingayats, Muslims and VJNT (Vimukh Jati Nomadic Tribes) would be brought out. She says unemployment and farm distress were the main issues this time adding that they would ensure jobs and a better price to farmers if voted to power.

On the contentious issue of Maratha reservation, Sule doesn't hesitate to say that their alliance is sensitive about it and so also the need for quota for other segments of society. Sule packs punches on her rivals and maintains that the fight with her estranged cousin Ajit Pawar is an "ideological" fight not a "family fight". Wearing a white saree with the NCP(SP) symbol of a man blowing the trumpet printed on the saree blouse, the Baramati MP starts her speech by chanting her party slogan, 'Ram Krishna Hari, Vajava Tutari'. While the second part of the slogan refers to the NCP(SP), the first part refers to the greeting of the Warkari sect, which worships the Vitthal deity, and has a huge following across the state.

"If MVA comes to power we will bring a comprehensive legislation ensuring appropriate reservation for Maratha, Dhangar, Muslim, Lingayat and VJNT," she said.

Taking a dig at the ruling Mahayuti over its popular Ladki Behin scheme, Sule says she "is the Ladki Behin of Maharashtra and people have blessed her".

When asked about how her party is doing after the break-up with the Ajit Pawar faction, she says: "The Lok Sabha results are a testimony to that. We will do well in the upcoming assembly polls as well."

On the 'Ladki Behna scheme' impact, Sule says: "I don't know but we will continue this scheme by further improving it to Rs 3,000 per month to women under the name 'Maha Laxmi Yojana'."
