Baramati Election Result: Sharad Pawar vs Yugendra Pawar
Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar has emerged victorious in the Baramati assembly seat, leading by 60,636 votes over his nephew, Yugendra Pawar. With a total of 109,848 votes, Ajit Pawar comfortably surpassed Yugendra Pawar, who received 49,212 votes.


Baramati Assembly Election Results

Baramati is a significant constituency, known as a stronghold of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), led by Sharad Pawar, Ajit's uncle. The race has become even more intense as it’s a family contest, with all eyes on this high-profile election.


Earlier this year, during the Lok Sabha elections, Supriya Sule from NCP defeated Ajit Pawar's wife, Sunetra, by over 1.5 lakh votes, adding more political heat to the family rivalry.

Baramati Assembly constituency

The Baramati Assembly constituency is one of the 288 legislative assembly constituencies in Maharashtra, situated in the western part of India. It is located in the Pune district and is one of the 21 constituencies within this region.

Baramati is part of the Baramati Lok Sabha constituency, which includes five other assembly constituencies in the Pune district: Daund, Indapur, Purandar, Bhor, and Khadakwasla.
