Madhya Pradesh Elections: Opinion polls pin hopes on BJP to form the government

The state of Madhya Pradesh went to polls on November 28. The outcome is keenly awaited for two reasons -- a) whether BJP will be able to come to power for the fourth consecutive term; b) the extent of damage that Congress manages to inflict.

The results will play a vital role in setting the political narrative as both the parties - Congress and BJP - would like to take forward the advantage as they step into poll mode for 2019. Issues like farm distress, unemployment, corruption and anti-incumbency have been doing the rounds leading up to the polling.

Two opinion polls conducted by Times Now WarRoom Strategies and NewsNation have predicted a win for the BJP. However, ABP CVoter has put Congress in the driver's seat.
