BJP chief Amit Shah to soon roll out ‘prosperous MP’ campaign
BJP wants to make MP polls a “participative election” where voters shun their complacency and come out in large numbers in its support

Party chief Amit Shah will soon launch the ‘Prosperous Madhya Pradesh’ campaign in the state. It is aimed at creating enthusiasm and optimism among the people about the future.
The BJP wants to make the MP polls a “participative election” where voters shun their complacency and come out in large numbers in its support, said party members.
The party will crowdsource views from the people on how to make the state prosperous. These will be incorporated in the election manifesto and a deadline will be announced for meeting the set targets. An annual report card of the progress made will also be given to people.
These suggestions to the party can be given to the party through phone calls, WhatsApp and SMS. Twenty suggestion boxes will be placed in each assembly seat.

The BJP is reviving its ‘Chai Pe Charcha (discussion over tea)’ programmes with some alteration. Tea sessions will be organised every Sunday in some area of every constituency where people share their views on what welfare measures should be taken.
Electronic suggestion booths will be set up in public places such as railway stations, airports and malls where people will be able to record their suggestions with the press of a button. These suggestions will be uploaded to the central server to be set up by the party.
The BJP is also going back to its well-equipped raths and 50 such vehicles will be deployed in Madhya Pradesh. These will have LED screens, sound system and electronic suggestion boxes.
